BG BOAT PARTS, manufacturer of the finest quality boat
fittings in South Africa, established in 1973 by Mr BG Bevan in Johannesburg,
operated from his private farm as a home business until 1977 when he moved
to Knysna in the Cape Province. His son, Mr RG Bevan, took over the reins
and has successfully built the company to what it is to date.
The company consists of a fully equipped Toolroom where all our plastic
injection moulds and press tools are manufactured, an injection moulding
section with 13 moulding machines ranging from 20T - 200T and a fully
equipped metal pressing section.
We manufacture a large range of fittings for keelboats, sailing dinghies,
power boats, semi-ridged inflatables, canoes and kayaks. All our plastic
fittings are manufactured from the highest quality Nylons, Acetyl resins,
A.B.S and various other plastic materials. We only use 316 Stainless Steel
and various non-ferrous metals for our metal fittings.
We have agents throughout Southern Africa and an agent in the United Kingdom (Southern Region).
